Getting to Know More About Wireless Headphones
If you wish to listen to your favorite music or watch a movie with your headphones without being too close to the audio equipment, the wireless headphones are the best for you. These wireless headphones do not require you to plug them into the player, but they will get the signal transmitted though radio, infrared or Bluetooth signals from the central base station. Because they are wireless, you can still enjoy your music from across the rooms while cooking, exercising and others.
These wireless headphones are also easy to connect with any audio equipment, such as MP3, DVD player and some others. These models come with a base unit station in which you need to plug it to the audio player. This unit station will receives the audio signals from the player and transmit them through radio, infrared or Bluetooth signals. The headphones will then receive these signals and covert them into sound. Commonly, the base unit will function as the headphones holders when they are not in use. Besides that, the unit is capable to charge the headset that uses reusable batteries.
Even though you can freely use these wireless headphones across the room, there is a limited distance to which these devices can operate. Commonly, they can still well function around 30 feet away from the base station. It is somehow very helpful compared to the wired ones. However, if your base unit applies the radio system, the headphones as well as the base station can be set for a few more channels that will not interfere with other radio broadcast.

What can I do to get wireless headphones to work on my tv?
My daughter wanted wireless headphones to listen to her tv without creating noise for the rest of the family. I bought her some, but there are no audio output jacks (only input) or headphone jacks on my tvs. How can I solve the problem without buying a special tv?
How is the television signal transmitted to the TV? There may be audio outputs on your cable box, DVR, DVD, etc., that you can use, and just mute the TV. If you are pulling a signal directly from a cable (with no converter) and your TV truly has no outputs, you may need a new TV, but you certainly don't need a 'special' TV -- every TV I've owned in the last 15 years has had audio outputs.
